Meet the Petabolix Team

During his time as Director of Veterinary Sales at Royal Canin, Joe Wayman saw that vets passionately believed in nutrition as the most important factor in a pet’s health. But unfortunately, limited time and resources made it difficult to provide well-informed diet recommendations. As a solution, Joe developed a nutritional supplement company, which he sold in 2012, as well as an extensive veterinary manual for diet recommendations. That manual has since evolved into the collaborative data platform, Petabolix™.

Stephanie’s career is dedicated to improving the health and happiness of pets through better nutrition. She is a PhD and Certified Veterinary Technician who has served as a a product advisor for Purina and Royal Canin. Stephanie ensures that Petabolix™ nutrition recommendations are in accordance with modern nutrition standard and can be adapted for unique preferences and needs.

Blake’s experience in tech entrepreneurship helped bring Joe’s vet nutrition manual to life as a digital solution for both vets and consumers. Blake, a grad of Mizzou law school, brings both tech and pet health experience into driving strategic partnerships and funding for Petabolix™.

Danny drives the customer experience for Petabolix, ensuring that all the behind-the-scenes nutrition intelligence is delivered to the user with ease. Pet health is in his professional DNA, having helped brands like PetSmart, Banfield, Hill’s, and Bayer Animal Health in creating better digital journeys for their customers.

Andrés is a software engineer from Caracas, Venezuela who has been an active mentor in the development community volunteer for social causes. In 2014, he earned a grant to continue studying computer science in the United States, during a dangerous time of social unrest and political instability in Venezuela. His unique perspective and diverse applications experience have helped Petabolix™ deliver a world-class product for all users.

Lucas is the master architect behind the industry’s most robust, accurate and up-to-date pet food database. Before joining Petabolix™, Lucas worked with over 200 brands in building and maintaining high-integrity databases and, additionally, helped build the Hill’s Pet product shopping platform.
